Arguably one of the largest junior sports leagues in Australia – but despite its size, the YJFL found itself unable to connect with the wider business community in order to drive new partners and new revenue through primarily sponsorship.
WHAT WE DID
Ahead of the 2024 season, the YJFL engaged Whitewall Sport and The Sportmaker service.
We knew our main task would be to engage with the wider community, whilst still retaining an authentic and genuine partnership opportunity for like-minded businesses.
We worked with the team at YJFL to create an engaging narrative and began telling their story through a newly designed, bespoke Sponsorship Sales Document.
Meanwhile, our lead generation team started compiling their data, based on specific requirements and geo-targeting goals laid out by the organisation.
THE RESULTS
The Sportmaker team operated 8 weeks of our Sponsorship Sprint Connect program on behalf of the YJFL, connecting with over 2,000 businesses across Melbourne.
Not only do the Yarra Junior Football League now have a professional document to present to potential future partners, but they were also delighted to receive 55 Hot Leads by the end of the program.
